She is currently pursuing PhD in biophysics at Johns Hopkins University, USA, where she investigates how RNA molecules evolve, fold and function. She likes to read and learn about anything and everything, travel, arrange music, and play any musical instrument she can get her hands on.
Soureek Mitra
He is pursuing a career in research to unravel the mysteries of the particle world. His range of interests encompass almost everything noteworthy out there -- particularly, to play and watch games of football, delve deep into discussions on photography, history, movies, literature, tangible and intangible forms of art, travel experiences, culinary experiences, and the list goes on. He is a bit of a foodie, always ready to venture into a variety of available cuisines. He also loves to travel once in a while, hang out with friends whenever possible and have fun.

He is a JRF in the Department of Biological Sciences. This is his tribute to Tripod, a TIFR colonnade resident. Srikanth says, "Reminiscing about this friendly, fast runner, good listener and source of inspiration, makes the evening walks more nostalgic."

He is a research scholar in the Department of Biological Sciences. Apart from reconstituting motor recruitment on lipid droplets in the lab, he is interested in biking, trekking and hiking. He uses oil, acrylic and water colours to imprint his imaginations on canvas.

Shreya is pursuing her PhD in neuroscience from the Department of Biological Sciences. In her free time, she likes to learn sketching, paint portraits, and write blogs on science.

Sumeru is pursuing his research in the field of Condensed Matter Physics. He loves to spend most of his weekends painting, which has been his favourite pastime since years. He is also fond of cartooning, making ambigrams and digital arts.
